These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in Innovator Quest (“Innovator Quest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By submitting an idea, paying an entry fee, or otherwise using this website, you (“you,” “entrant,” or “participant”) agree to follow these Terms in full. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must read and accept these Terms on your behalf.
1 Who May Enter

Teams may have 2 – 5 members; one e-mail (“Primary Contact”) handles all contest communication. We may request proof of age only when a prize or law demands it (e.g., travel paperwork).
2 Entry Requirements
- Idea Summary – 2 to 3 clear sentences.
- One-page PDF Slide – shows how the idea works.
- Entry Fee – per idea: ₹ 100 (School), ₹ 200 (College), ₹ 500 (Professional).
- Accurate Details – names must match legal IDs for certificates or prizes.
- Unlimited Ideas – submit as many as you like; each is judged separately.
- Original Work & Ownership Warranty
- You state that you (or your team) are the rightful creator(s) of the idea, or that you hold written permission to submit it.
- You confirm, to the best of your knowledge, that the idea does not infringe any third-party intellectual-property rights (patent, design, copyright, or trademark).
- You understand that similar or identical ideas may exist or be received from other entrants; Innovator Quest cannot and does not promise that your submission is unique.
- If a third party claims rights to your idea, Innovator Quest may pause evaluation or withdraw any award until the matter is resolved.
3 Intellectual Property
- Ownership – You retain full ownership of your idea and all related IP.
- Licence to Evaluate – By entering, you grant Innovator Quest and its judging panels a world-wide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to review and evaluate the idea solely for contest purposes.
- Publication – We will not publish any idea, photo, or video unless you win and give written consent (parent/guardian consent for minors).
- No Warranty of Freedom-to-Operate – Receiving a prize or benefit does not mean your idea is patent-clear or market-ready; you remain responsible for any IP searches and filings.

Judging decisions are final.
5 Prizes & Winner Benefits
- Digital Certificates & Badges for each winning level.
- Incubator Introductions – winners may be referred to partner incubators (subject to availability).
- Seed-Fund Short-Listing – top ideas could enter partner funding pipelines.
Benefits are non-transferable and depend on partner availability; taxes and statutory deductions are the winner’s responsibility.
6 Payments, Refunds & Taxes
- Fees are processed via secure gateways (Razorpay, Stripe, UPI, etc.).
- Fees are non-refundable once your idea is submitted and the payment is successfully captured.
- Any transaction fees or taxes (e.g., GST) are paid by the entrant.
7 Code of Conduct
No malware, hate speech, harassment, identity fraud, or attempts to manipulate judging. Violations may lead to disqualification and loss of fees or prizes.
8 Disclaimers
- Skill-based contest – Innovator Quest is judged on merit, not chance; it is not a lottery or wagering scheme.
- IP & Similar Ideas – We do not guarantee that another entrant, third party, or patent office will not hold similar or earlier rights to a concept like yours.
- No Funding Guarantee – Introductions and short-lists do not guarantee investment or incubator acceptance.
- Service Availability – We strive for 24 × 7 uptime but cannot promise uninterrupted access.
9 Limitation of Liability
Except where law forbids, Innovator Quest and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits, data, or goodwill). Maximum aggregate liability is limited to the total entry fees you paid in the 12 months before any claim.
10 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Innovator Quest harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms;
- Allegations that your submission infringes third-party IP;
- Inaccurate or fraudulent information you provide.
11 Termination & Withdrawal
We may cancel, suspend, or modify the contest for fraud, technical failure, or force majeure. If cancelled before judging begins, fees are refunded. You may withdraw an idea at any time; fees remain non-refundable after the Basic Check.
12 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms for legal or operational reasons. The “Last updated” date shows the newest version. Continuing to participate after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
13 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Indian law. Courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
