Innovator Quest (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy and the trust you place in us. This Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you visit our site, pay an entry fee or submit an idea. By taking part, you confirm you have read and agree to the practices below.
1 Eligibility & Age

Proof of age is requested only if a prize or legal requirement (e.g., international travel, grant paperwork) demands verification.
2 Information We Collect
2.1 You Provide Directly

2.2 Collected Automatically
IP address, browser type, device info, pages visited, timestamps and cookie data (see § 8).
3 How We Use Your Information
- Contest operations – verify eligibility, judge entries, announce winners, issue certificates.
- Communications – send OTP codes, payment receipts, status updates and (if you opt-in) newsletters.
- Analytics & improvement – understand site usage and fix bugs.
- Legal compliance – meet tax, accounting and data-protection laws (India DPDP Act 2023, GDPR, etc.).
We never publish your idea, photo or video unless you win and give written consent (see § 4).
4 Winners’ Photos, Videos & Idea Publication
- Collection – only winners are invited (by e-mail) to send a photo or short video.
- Consent – replying to the e-mail allows Innovator Quest to publish your idea, photo or video. For minors, parent/guardian need to reply to the e-mail.
- Scope – if consent is given, we may post the idea title, summary, photo or video on our website, social channels or press releases.
- No consent, no publication – winners who decline remain listed privately for judging records; non-winning ideas are never published.
- Withdrawal – you (or your parent/guardian) may withdraw media consent later; we will remove the content where technically possible.
5 Data Sharing & Transfers
- Judges & mentors – receive idea summaries and slides strictly for evaluation.
- Service providers – payment gateway, mail service, hosting, analytics – bound by confidentiality agreements.
- International storage – data may sit on servers outside your country; we use standard contractual safeguards.
- Legal disclosure – information may be shared if required by law or to protect rights, safety or property.
6 Data Security
HTTPS/TLS encryption, firewalls and role-based access keep data safe. Only authorised staff, judges and vetted vendors can see personal data they need. If a breach occurs, we will inform affected users and regulators as the law requires.
7 Your Privacy Rights
Where local law permits, you may:
- Access – ask for a copy of your data.
- Correct – fix inaccurate data (e.g., name on certificates).
- Delete – request deletion of data that is no longer required.
- Object / restrict – limit processing (such as marketing e-mails).
- Withdraw consent – for cookies or media at any time.
- Complain – lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.

8 Cookies & Tracking
We use first-party cookies to keep your form session active, remember preferences and collect anonymous analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser; some site features may then not work.
9 Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover such data we delete it and contact the parent/guardian. The School entry process flows through a parent e-mail for this reason.
10 Policy Updates
We may update this Policy for legal or operational reasons. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continuing to use Innovator Quest after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
